Please accept my apologies for adressing you in English instead of French.
A short time ago, you have received, via the Swiss Aerodromes Association, information and answers to your questions you raised after reception of the letter from FOCA regarding the “briefing options”. We would like to go one step ahead by inviting you to participate in the skybriefing pilot phase taking place from 4.11.2013 until 14.11.2013.
This will alllow you to try the new briefing application and test if it works with the existing or new infrastructure you will use on your aerodrome. This is the main goal for your participation. We will also accept feedback about the application itself, but it is not the main focus.
For the pilot phase we have created a environment that is not entirely an operational environment meaning, that the flight plans will be processed on a test system, but not distributed to the outside world. Apart from this, the system behaves like the operational system.
Please send us back the following information by the 31.10.2013:
the e-mail address for your aerodrome to be used as a user-id in skybriefing.
We will register you with this address and also send your password to this address.
a telephone number to contact you
After we have received this information we will send you the link that will be available and active from 4.11.2013 as well as more information about the pilot phase.
IMPORTANT: Please, note that we need a fixed, public IP address for your terminal(s) in order to configure your terminal(s) as public terminals on your aerodrome. We appreciate if you could send the fixed IP adress(es) you use as soon as possible.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to the pilot phase. If you have questions, please, do not hesitate to contact us.
